In this day and age of constant demands for our attention and energy from every angle, many spiritual leaders find themselves physically and spiritually depleted. To add to the complexity, most live on a tight budget and cannot afford to get away to receive needed rest and renewal. As a financial partner on our team, you help underwrite these retreats, allowing each ministry leader to participate at a minimal cost to them and their church or ministry organization.
Your investment impacts church leaders and advances the Gospel in the region and worldwide! We have plans to build our own retreat home in Central Oregon, but until we are funded and form the leadership team around this vision, we are using borrowed space to facilitate these vital retreats.

One of our roles with Standing Stone is to facilitate retreats for Pastors & Christian leaders. We cater to each leader/couple in the best format for their current situation to help them navigate life, their family, and their ministry context. Although, at times, we are helping with traumas that most would consider intensive, our focus is primarily on the preventative spiritual, emotional, and mental health of the leaders. We Are committed to the success of their marriage, family, and vocation. It is our privilege to use these weeks as a catalytic experience to nurture thier souls, renew their minds, and provide for them a space to seek the Trinity.
In partnership with Kerith Springs Lodge near Sisters, Oregon, John & Jennifer Garrick will host several retreats for pastors and spouses over the next year. Although the retreat space at Kerith Springs is open and active all year long with various hosts, the Garricks will be the resident hosts for the following weeks:
